Our Value Proposition

Our network consist of over 500 members and over 1500 notable alumni, many of which end up in Ivey’s HBA Program. Our events offer our members a great opportunity to expand their network and help them adjust to their university environment. Our members come from a diverse range of backgrounds (medical science, technology, finance, etc.), but everyone also shares a deep passion for business.

Throughout the academic year, PBSN hosts many events that aim to help our members develop the necessary skills and knowledge to be successful at landing an internship. We strive to help our find their personal interests and train them to be ultimately employable by the end of their first year.

Being one of the largest clubs on campus, we have a lot of resources and opportunities to offer our members. For the ambitious leaders, we have our executive applications at the beginning of the school year and we also offer applicable consulting experience through our Pro-Bono Consulting Program that launches every October. PBSN strives on providing as many opportunities of growth as possible.

Every year, some of our events are in the form of competitions. This is a great way for students to earn recognition and to win some extra money.

Fashion Trends

Every single year, PBSN has released a student magazine that highlights some of our most stylish members. We aim to inspire our PBSN community to dress to impress.

Coffee Chats

Many alumni are familiar with PBSN. As a member, reaching out and grabbing a coffee chat with upper years is easier than ever!

I have worked the past 3 terms working at RBC. Twice in IT for project management and once in Business Banking for product management; I was the VP Operations for PBSN 2 years ago. The Connect Conference is the biggest event of the year for PBSN. Every single year, the PBSN team invites very notable speakers from all industries of business to talk to our members about their journey and what it takes to make it in their field. PBSN also invites back many of it's alumni to give a panel discussion about their university experience. The connect conference usually takes place later in the school year and it absolutely a can't miss event.
